This Wisdomworks resource packet, No life is Ordinary: Models of Healthy Eldering, developed out of 10 years of working with elders in workshops, retreats and other gatherings.

For this series, we videotaped 26 Senior Adults from 65-95 years of life experience. The DVD captures the wisdom of elders as they reflect upon their lives and what brings meaning and value to each day. The reflection guide offers individuals or groups a resource for processing the wealth of content on the DVD.

The DVD and Reflection Guide highlight three areas:

• Significant Elders - mentors and models of eldering for those interviewed
• Humor and Play –a vital dimension in healthy eldering
• Wisdom Gathered –what an elder has learned and desires to pass on

After each elder's sharing segment, a gift for eldering is named, which is a source for inspiration and learning.   Two streaming videos are available for viewing on this website – one here on the home page front and one under the No Life Is Ordinary menu/tab.
